At THE WAY EMPOWERS INC, our initiatives are the hands and feet of our mission — tangible ways we love, serve, and uplift our community. Each initiative is an opportunity to live out the love of Jesus by serving others with humility, compassion, and purpose.
Clean & Sanitize Local Parks
We take pride in serving not only people but also the places they call home. Through our Park Cleaning & Sanitizing Initiative, we gather volunteers to clean, sanitize, and beautify local parks in Kern County, Bakersfield.
We do this to create safe, welcoming environments for families, children, and the homeless community to enjoy. Every bag of trash collected, every bench cleaned, and every flower planted is an act of stewardship — caring for God’s creation.
Thanksgiving Miracle Initiative
Every Thanksgiving, we come together as one big family in the park to serve meals and share hope through our Thanksgiving Miracle Initiative.
We prepare and serve hot, home-cooked meals for anyone in need — no questions asked. Families, individuals, and volunteers gather to eat together, pray together, and celebrate the true meaning of gratitude and community.
This isn’t just a meal — it’s a miracle of love, reminding everyone that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.
